Anyone there?

If you read this blog and are a gamer, please reply. I'd like to know if I should keep doing this, or if I am just wasting my time. I'm getting a reasonable number of hits for a new blog, but almost no feedback.

Thanks.

Hey, keep it going.

It took about 4 months before anyone started commenting on my blog, and even then it was a trickle for a few months.

It's true that feedback brightens the day, but ultimately you have be doing this because you want to, and not for the feedback.

Ditto Yehuda's comments. Ya' gotta do it for yourself, not others.

Look on the bright side. No one is posting negative comments.

Thanks for the comments. I don't crave feedback per se. I just hope what I am doing is useful or at least entertaining for others. But you are right: I should do it for myself.

Blog because you want to, not because other people may or may not be reading... I just blog so I have a place for my stuff these days. I actually disable comments on mine.

I also used to write as a hobby, so have been looking at blogging as a hopeful way to get back in.

Don't sweat it. Gaming blogs tend to be focused anyways, like yours. That's valuable.

Keep up the good work. I'm currently working on a completely private blog (I suppose you could call it a digital diary in blog format) just to see for myself if I can keep it up or have any reasonable content. If I can't make it worth while for myself, I see no point in publishing it.
